This Instant Pot Chicken Noodle Soup is ready in less than 15 minutes! Homemade Soup in less than 15 minutes! Delicious juicy chicken, with hearty vegetables in a satisfying broth. This soup is perfect for anytime!
When I think of soup, I tend to think of slow-cooked, simmered for hours and flavors melding together. But, sometimes you just don’t have all day . That’s where the Instant Pot comes in.
Making this Chicken Noodle Soup in the instant pot is a really quick process. It’s amazing how helpful the instant pot can be while putting together a hearty family dinner.
Not only is it time savvy, all of the flavors are there! The delicate noodles, savory carrots, celery, delicious chicken, it’s the perfect any time soup! Comfort food in less than fifteen minutes.
Instant Pot Chicken Noodle Soup
To make this soup I’m using Rotisserie Chicken – it’s so convenient. Plus, it’s affordable and delicious. I’m also using carrots, celery, onions, vegetable broth, chicken broth, and fettuccine noodles.
Start by putting 2 Tbsp of unsalted butter in the instant pot. Turn the pot to sautee. Add your onions, celery, and carrots.
After you’ve browned the vegetables for a few moments change the setting to soup/broth . Add the vegetable broth and the chicken broth.
Next, add the fettuccine noodles and the chicken!
Return lid. Cook for about ten minutes.
Stir and check to see if the noodles are tender enough. If they are not replace lid and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
It’s that easy!
Serve the soup right away! I like to serve mine with those tiny little oyster crackers.
These King Cake Pull Apart Doughnuts are the perfect way to celebrate Mardi Gras. They even have a special surprise inside: Raspberry & Chocolate filling!
They only take about 10 minutes to prep then they get popped in the oven to bake! To make these scrumptious doughnuts you’ll need: puff pastry, chocolate hazelnut spread, raspberry jam, some food coloring, and some sprinkles!
King Cake Pull Apart Doughnuts
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a cupcake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Next, start by slicing your puff pastry into three different strips.
On the first strip spread purple sprinkles over it generously. On the next strip place a few drops of green food coloring, and using a spoon spread it across. Then do the same on the third strip with the yellow food coloring.
Once you have your strips colored, slice each of them into two more strips lengthwise (You should have 6 strips total). Now, slice those in half once horizontally.
Take one yellow strip, one purple strip, and one green strip and lay them flat together touching with their colored side facing down. Spread 1 tsp of raspberry jam and one tsp of chocolate hazelnut spread on them.
Then twist them closed, keeping the filling inside!
Place them one by one in the cupcake pan as you finish. Once you’ve twisted each of them and added them to the pan, place the pan in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
The doughnuts are done when the dough is a light golden brown, and if you stick a toothpick in them it comes out clean!
These make for a festive breakfast on Mardi Gras! They are the perfect size and are best eaten warm!
I sprinkled the tops with a little powdered sugar as well!
On first strip spread purple sprinkles over it generously.
5
On next strip place a few drops of green food coloring, and using a spoon spread it across.
6
Do the same on the third strip but, with the yellow food coloring.
7
Once strips are colored, slice each of them into two more strips lengthwise (You should have 6 strips total).
8
Now, slice those in half once horizontally. (For a total of 12 strips altogether!)
9
Take one yellow strip, one purple strip, and one green strip and lay them flat together touching with their colored side facing down.
10
Spread 1 tsp of raspberry jam and one tsp of chocolate hazelnut spread on them.
11
Then twist them closed, keeping the filling inside!
12
Place each twist in the cupcake pan as you finish.
13
Bake for about 30 minutes.
14
The doughnuts are done when the dough is a light golden brown, and if you stick a toothpick in them it comes out clean!
King Cake Baby
Traditionally King Cake has a little plastic baby inside and whoever receives the piece with the baby “wins”. They are then treated like royalty the whole night.
You can carry on this tradition by placing a baby in the middle of one of the doughnuts After it’s baked and cooled – just be cautious to let everyone know before hand that one of them does contain a baby! (And I would not try this with children!)
You can even simply place a the baby on top for decoration! If you cannot find a “Marci Gras” section at your local store just head on over to the baby shower section of any craft store or Walmart. You can generally find a whole pack of plastic babies for less than $2.00!
I love Cold Brew Coffee and I love flavored foam on top even more. So, this Valentine’s Day I’ve been inspired to make a Cold Brew Coffee with Pink Velvet Foam.
The foam tastes just like red velvet with a pretty pink tone to it!
Cold Brew Coffee with Pink Velvet Foam
Start by making your cold brew coffee. Set it aside. To make the Pink Velvet Foam – it’s easy! You’ll need whipping cream, red food coloring, unsweetened cocoa powder, and confectioner’s sugar.
In a large bowl combine two cups of whipping cream, one Tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder, three drops of red food coloring, and one cup of confectioner’s sugar.
Whisk it rapidly. Keep whisking until it’s fully mixed. Then continue to whisk until it starts get a little foamy and frothy!
Finally, pour the foam right on top of the cold brew coffee.
The foam should be thick enough that it sits right on the top!
Today I’m making this Easy Strawberry Poke Cake. Not only is this cake super easy to make, it’s delicious and very appropriate for Valentine’s Day!
The idea behind the poke cakes is that after the cake comes out of the oven and is cooled, you pour a liquid over top – most of the time Jello! To make this cake I’m sticking true to form and using strawberry jello! I’m using a box cake mix. Could you make the cake from scratch? Sure. Do you need to? Absolutely not. This is going to taste homemade and it’s going to cut the time in half.
I’m also decorating the cake with strawberries and raspberries to keep with the flavors and red theme of Valentine’s Day!
Easy Strawberry Poke Cake
Start off by following the directions on your cake box. Mix the egg whites, vegetable oil, and cake mix in a large bowl.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees . Spray your cake pans with non-stick cooking spray and pat with a little flour . Pour your batter into the pans. Place the pans in the oven to bake . They should take about 24 minutes to bake. You can test them with a toothpick , stick it in the middle and if it comes out clean it’s ready!
After removing your cakes from the oven let them cool in the pan on a rack for about 15 minutes. Next transfer them to a plate to cool for and additional 15 minutes. After they are completely cool you’re going to replace them in the pan so that you can pour the jello over top.
Take a fork and poke wholes all around the cake. Boil 1 cup of water on the stove top and then add the jello packet to the water stirring. Pour the jello mix over top of the cake slowly and evenly!
Place the cakes in the fridge for at least 3 hours. After they’ve chilled for long enough, remove them from the cake pans and get ready to frost them!
Mix 3/4 of a tub of cool whip with one can of frosting. Separate the frosting in to two bowls and place a little red food coloring in to one bowl. After mixing it frost the top of the bottom cake with it.
Next, place the other cake on top.
Begin frosting the edges of the cake. The easiest way is to sort of spin the cake slowly as you apply the frosting with a spatula. Finally, apply frosting on top evenly.
Once your done frosting it sprinkle some white crystal sprinkles all over the middle and place strawberries around it in two separate layers of a circle. Lastly, place the raspberries right in the middle on top of the crystal sprinkles!
Let cakes cool for 15 minutes. Remove from pans and cool for an additional 15 minutes.
3
Place them back in the pan so that you can pour the jello over the top.
4
Take a fork and poke wholes all around the cake.
5
Boil 1 cup of water on the stove top and then add the jello packet to the water stirring.
6
Pour the jello mix over top of the cake slowly and evenly!
7
Place the cakes in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
8
After they've chilled for long enough, remove them from the cake pans.
9

Making homemade pizzas is one of our favorite, fun things to do as a family! With Friday night upon us we’ve got movies, pizza, and milkshakes lined up. All from the comfort of our own couch! We’re making a cuban inspired pizza called The Cubano Pizza with Homemade Pizza Crust.
This cuban inspired pizza combines swiss cheese, mozzarella, pulled pork, diced ham, and pickles. It’s topped with a garlic dijon aioli and all housed on a delicious homemade pizza crust.
It’s so easy to make pizza from scratch when you use Fleischmann’s® RapidRise® Yeast . As a family we’ve been using Fleischmann’s® Yeast for generations.
Making homemade pizza dough is also really fun! Mixing, measuring, pouring, and kneading. My son loves helping out! Of course his favorite part of family pizza night is the “decorating” part!
Not only is it fun, It just tastes sooo much better when you make it from scratch.
The Cubano Pizza with Homemade Pizza Crust
Making the crust is easy! Simply follow the directions on the package.
The dough has a rise time of only ten minutes! And even if you’ve never done this before its very easy to make!
Start by pre heating the oven to 425°F.
Combine 1 cup of flour, the undissolved yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Add luke warm water and corn oil. Mix until it is well blended, for about 1 minute.
Gradually add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Dough should form a ball and be slightly sticky. Knead on a floured surface. Add additional flour if necessary, until smooth and elastic, this will take about 4 minutes.
Place the ball of dough in a large bowl. Now, cover the bowl of dough with saran wrap or a clean dish towel. Set aside and allow to rest for ten minutes.
By this time the dough should have increased in size and be ready to use!
Pat the dough with floured hands rolling and stretching dough on a floured surface to about a 12-inch circle. Place the dough on a greased pizza pan. Form a rim about an inch thick for the crust, by pinching the edge of the dough.
Topping The Cubano
Place mozzarella cheese all over , add swiss cheese dispersing evenly. Next, add your ham cubes & pulled pork. Now is also the time to place your red cherry peppers on top!
Bake your pizza on the lowest rack for about 12-15 minutes or until your crust is a golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling!
While it cooks make your Garlic Dijon Ailoi. Combine a 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp of Dijon mustard, 1 Tbsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp of honey, and 1 tsp of pickle juice in a bowl, mixing well. Set aside.
As soon as the pizza is done baking, remove it from the heat and let it cool for five minutes. Add your pickle slices all over the pizza. Finally, drizzle the pizza with the Garlic Dijon Aioli.

Homemade Pizza dough is like a beautiful, blank canvas ready for you to top it anyway you want! Here are some tips on making the perfect dough:
You must use luke warm water! The water must be between 120 – 130 degrees F. Too cold or too hot and it will not rise properly! Make sure to temp your water using a thermometer.
Make sure the yeast is not expired! Check the date on the package, expired yeast can cause it not to rise!
Place it in a warm place while resting, on top of your preheating oven is a great place, or even the counter. Whatever you do , do not place it in the fridge to rest!
You can find this 30 Minute Pizza Crust recipe I used here and other tasty treats to make by visiting Fleischmann’s® RapidRise® Yeast .
One of my favorite ways to enhance any coffee is salted caramel. I love when Starbucks gets its Salted Caramel Mocha for the season. Feeling inspired by that I’m making an Iced Salted Caramel Coffee today. Bringing the coffee house home!
Iced Salted Caramel Coffee
Start by brewing your coffee. Once your coffee is brewed, let it cool for a few moments then add about 5 cubes of ice to it, stirring it quickly. Remove ice, set coffee aside.
Fill a separate glass to the brim with ice. Add the salted caramel. Pour in the milk. Add vanilla extract and brown sugar.
Finally, pour the coffee in over the top. Stir well.
Add the whipped cream and drizzle with a little salted caramel on top!
You can also do a little customizing here if need be! Want to substitute Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, or Soy? Go for it!
If you have an espresso machine you can even make this into a latte. Just do two shots of espresso, and the same amount of everything else , adding more milk if need be!
