Have I ever told you how much I love waffles? They can be sweet or savory. Simple or Complex. They’re incredibly versatile and pretty much people pleasers. We’re having some guests over and I wanted to do something different. So, this weekend I’ve created a whole Kellogg’s Eggo Waffle Bar with all kinds of delicious choices. Since, it’s so nice outside, my focus was grilling as much as I possibly can. You can’t beat that smoky flavor the grill adds to everything it touches.

Coconut Crispy Chicken with Korean Sticky Sauce

This Crispy Chicken is crusted in pretzel crackers accompanied with the subtleness of unsweetened shredded coconut. And if I’m being honest this chicken is so good even without the sauce. You can really taste just the slight hint of coconut & pretzel flavor, plus it’s juicy with a slight crunch! Slow Roasted Brisket

Last night I was trying to figure out what we would be dining on today. I was flipping through an old family cookbook (the kind on weathered paper, barely hanging together). I found it in my mom’s stuff. I wanted to make something I’ve personally never made before. That’s when I came across a recipe for Uncle Clayton’s Sunday Brisket. A Bbq Brisket that’s  cooked in the oven. A good old fashioned tender piece of meat that’s been roasting low & slow in the oven all day. This  is one of those recipes that cooks for awhile, but the actual prep time is minimal.
