We tend to frequent Ocean City, MD during the summer months. It’s one of our favorite family destinations. Mainly because of it’s close proximity and the fact that it has so much to offer. Over the past 15 years we’ve had the pleasure of staying at many of the area hotels and the Dunes Manor Hotel & Suites is one of our favorites!
Location Is Key
No matter where you’re visiting, when selecting a hotel location is key. The Dunes Manor Hotel is located right at the perfect spot. It’s just one small block from the boardwalk, which means you get the best of both worlds:
You’re close enough to the boardwalk and you can hop right on the tram and ride it to all of the shops, restaurants, and rides. Or you can walk!
Being just a block off of the boardwalk also means the beach is a little more private and the hotel itself has a quieter atmosphere!
This stay we were even able to view the Blue Angels Air Show , right from our balcony!
There’s a lot of restaurants within walking distance too! One of my favorites is Mother’s Cantina, fresh made mexican food! Be sure to walk across the street and check it out!
You can even cross the highway and walk over to the Jolly Roger Amusement Park.
Value
The Dunes is competitively priced! This means in the off season it’s super affordable and you can steal a great deal!
During season it’s comparable to the other hotels around it. And with it’s location and all of it’s amenities it’s one hundred percent worth it!

Convenient Dining – In addition to the amazing restaurants and bars in the area the Dunes Manor Hotel & Suites also offers room service as well as an in house restaurant.
Barefoot Bar – You can walk right up from the beach to the outdoor bar and pick up a drink, soemthing to eat, or even just hang out !
Pool – They offer a spacious indoor/outdoor pool. Which means you can swim year round!
Fitness Room – Fitness room along with weekly fitness classes.
Complimentary Coffee & Tea – They offer coffee in the morning as well as afternoon tea!
Live Music – Check with the front desk, there are different events – including live music throughout the summer!
Rooms
Every room has an Ocean View! That’s right every single room in this hotel is Oceanfront. They contain 2 queen beds or a king size bed. Each room has a tv, complimentary wifi, microwave, mini fridge, hairdryer, and coffee maker!
