Everything Bagel Pigs In A Blanket

These Everything Pigs in a Blanket are scrumptious little handheld beef franks wrapped in an everything bagel style “blanket”!

These are perfect for Game Day, Holidays, Get Togethers, or even just because. We ended up eating this whole batch within a few hours. They are just so good.

Everything Bagel Pigs In A Blanket

You’ll need a package of Mini Beef Franks, a can of refrigerated crescent dough, an egg, and some “Everything Seasoning”. You can buy Everything Seasoning at certain grocery stores or make your own.

My local stores did not have it, so I opted for making it myself. Fortunately, I had all of the ingredients on hand except for the Poppy Seeds, but I was able to pick up a bottle of those as well! To make the seasoning, just mix equal parts Sesame Seeds, Poppy Seeds, Minced Onion, and Minced Garlic.

Making the Pigs In a Blanket

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Next line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Take your crescent dough out of the can. Slice it into 1/2 inch long and 2 inch wide sections. They need to be just big enough to wrap around the little franks, while still letting them peek out of the top and the bottom!

Once you’ve wrapped your little franks, place them on the parchment paper. Leave a few inches in between them. Brush the tops of them (on the dough part) with egg. This will allow the top to brown properly in the oven. Plus, it helps the everything topping stick perfectly!

Sprinkle your Everything Topping right on top of them.

Place them in the oven for about 8-10 minutes. About halfway through, turn the pan around to ensure they cook evenly. They will be a nice golden brown on the top when they are ready!

Serve these Everything Bagel Pigs In A Blanket by themselves (as they are so delicious!) or pair them with some yummy sauces for dunking. Classic Ketchup is always a go to option! If you want to try something new follow my recipe for Kicked up Ketchup or Green Onion Aioli found here!

I miss everything bagels! I’m allergic to onion (like super super allergic and get the flu when I eat it) so I avoid it like the plague haha. But I could totally find a way to skip out on the onion part of the seasoning and make my own for these. What a fun idea!

I think my husband would love these! I don’t eat meat but he does, so I’ll definitely have to keep this in mind for the next party we host.
