Strawberry Kiwi Margaritas

It’s finally warm & breezy here. So, enjoying a nice cold cocktail on the patio is the perfect end to a long day! Tonight I’m mixing up these sweet Strawberry Kiwi Margaritas.

To make these you’ll need tequila, triple sec, lime juice, kiwi slices, and a little strawberry simple syrup!

Let’s start by making the simple syrup!

Strawberry Simple Syrup

Using one container of strawberries (8-10 oz.) wash them and place them in a pot. Add 1 1/2 cups of water to the pot and 1 cup of sugar. Bring to a boil. Next, turn the heat down and let them simmer for about 15 minutes.

Once you’ve done that you’ll need to strain the mixture to separate the strawberries (and seeds) out of your simple syrup. Then, place simple syrup in fridge to cool!

First, rim your glass with salt or sugar. To do so place salt or sugar on a plate and use a lime wedge to wet the rim. Then, dip the rim of your glass into the salt or sugar.

Fill glass with ice. Add about 4-6 kiwi slices right into your glass!

Pour in one ounce of Patron Silver, a half ounce of triple sec, half ounce of lime juice, and one ounce of Strawberry Simple Syrup. Mix well & garnish with a lime slice!
