It’s finally warm & breezy here. So, enjoying a nice cold cocktail on the patio is the perfect end to a long day! Tonight I’m mixing up these sweet Strawberry Kiwi Margaritas. To make these you’ll need tequila, triple sec, lime juice, kiwi slices, and a little strawberry simple syrup! Let’s start by making the simple syrup! Strawberry Simple Syrup Using one container of strawberries (8-10 oz.) wash them and place them in a pot. Add 1 1/2 cups of water to the pot and 1 cup of sugar. Bring to a boil. Next, turn the heat down and let them simmer for about 15 minutes. Once you’ve done that you’ll need to strain the mixture to separate the strawberries (and seeds) out of your simple syrup. Then, place simple syrup in fridge to cool! Strawberry Kiwi Margaritas First, rim your glass with salt or sugar. To do so place salt or sugar on a plate and use a lime wedge to wet the rim.
