Slow Roasted Brisket

Last night I was trying to figure out what we would be dining on today. I was flipping through an old family cookbook (the kind on weathered paper, barely hanging together). I found it in my mom’s stuff. I wanted to make something I’ve personally never made before. That’s when I came across a recipe for Uncle Clayton’s Sunday Brisket. A Bbq Brisket that’s  cooked in the oven. A good old fashioned tender piece of meat that’s been roasting low & slow in the oven all day. This  is one of those recipes that cooks for awhile, but the actual prep time is minimal.
