21 Coffeehouse Recipes You Can Make At Home

This is a compilation of my favorite 21 Coffeehouse Recipes You Can Make At Home! The ones that taste like they were made in your local coffee shop but, instead you can make them right in the comfort of your own kitchen without going anywhere!

I have to admit I usually start each morning with a latte from Dunkin’, Starbucks, or my local coffeehouse.. depending on where I am and what I’m craving.

However, in light of everything going on in the world currently I will not be venturing out especially not for my daily coffee. Instead I’ll be making one here every morning (something I should’ve been doing all along). I’ll be saving my $5 + everyday and I will be able to fully customize it!

If you’re looking to do the same, here are some amazing recipes to try! I promise they will help fill the void whether you’re hunkered in at home, love making your own coffee, or just looking to save a little money!

Frozen Hazelnut Mocha Coffee

Today I’m sharing a recipe for this Frozen Hazelnut Mocha Coffee. I have a love for frozen or cold coffees even in the winter! I just can’t help it.

I find myself hitting up the drive thru whenever I can for a Frozen Coffee, I do realize though that I need to be making my own coffee at home a whole lot more often.

To make this you’ll need cold brewed coffee, ice, hazelnut creamer, and chocolate syrup.

Frozen Hazelnut Mocha Coffee

Start by pouring one cup of the Cold Brewed Coffee into your blender.

Next, add a cup of ice.

Now, add 2 Tbsp of the Hazelnut Creamer.

Finally, add about 3 Tbsp of the Chocolate Syrup (You don’t actually need to measure this, you can just guesstimate.)

Blend well. If it’s too clumpy, blend longer. If it’s too thin – add more ice or, if it’s too thick add more coffee!

Take a glass and swirl chocolate syrup straight into the glass.

Pour your Frozen Coffee right into the glass!

Enjoy the taste of Frozen Coffee at home!

Iced Salted Caramel Coffee

One of my favorite ways to enhance any coffee is salted caramel. I love when Starbucks gets its Salted Caramel Mocha for the season. Feeling inspired by that I’m making an Iced Salted Caramel Coffee today. Bringing the coffee house home!

Iced Salted Caramel Coffee

Start by brewing your coffee. Once your coffee is brewed, let it cool for a few moments then add about 5 cubes of ice to it, stirring it quickly. Remove ice, set coffee aside.

Fill a separate glass to the brim with ice. Add the salted caramel. Pour in the milk. Add vanilla extract and brown sugar.

Finally, pour the coffee in over the top. Stir well.

Add the whipped cream and drizzle with a little salted caramel on top!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Coffee
  • 1 Tsp of Salted Caramel
  • 1 Tsp of Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Milk

You can also do a little customizing here if need be! Want to substitute Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, or Soy? Go for it!

If you have an espresso machine you can even make this into a latte. Just do two shots of espresso, and the same amount of everything else , adding more milk if need be!

Cinnamon Eggnog Coffee

This Cinnamon Eggnog Coffee is the perfect way to warm up on Christmas morning! It’s also perfect if you’re going to be up all night wrapping Christmas gifts like me! In fact, I’m thinking about convincing my little man that we should definitely be leaving Cookies & Coffee for Santa instead of Cookies & Milk.

Mr. Coffee® Easy Measure Coffee Maker

Mr. Coffee® is America’s #1 coffee maker brand. They have the highest levels of brand awareness.

With the help of the Mr. Coffee® Easy Measure coffee maker making this Cinnamon Eggnog Coffee is a breeze. This coffeemaker features a color-coded measuring system! The color-coded measuring system makes it so easy to add just the right amount of coffee grounds and water every single time for consistency.

The scoop has the number of cups you want vs how many scoops you’ll need of ground coffee printed right on the handle! Those numbers are color coded and they match the same numbers on the side of the pot. That way you can easily decide how many cups of coffee you want to make and how many scoops of ground coffee you’ll need to place in the filter to accomplish this! It’s so easy!

Another one of my favorite features is that it also includes an advanced water filtration system that improves taste by removing impurities in water. First, it removes up to 97% of chlorine from water and then it targets calcium to reduce water hardness!

Brew Now, Brew Later

If you’re like us and you’re a “..But, first coffee!” family, then getting a fresh pot of coffee going Christmas morning will definitely be a top priority! This also has a handy brew now or brew later button so that you can set it up ahead of time. To set it simply add your ground coffee to the reusable filter. Next, make sure your brewing carafe is correctly under the brew spot. Touch the brew later button, then set your designated brew time! I love using this feature so that the coffee is already ready when I wake up and head down to the kitchen in the morning!

It even feautures an automatic 4-hour shut off, that way you don’t have to wonder if you cut it off or not!

Cinnamon Eggnog Coffee

Today I’m sharing this recipe for Cinnamon Eggnog Coffee. It’s an easy way to add lots of winter vibes when making coffee this season! Plus, it will easily impress your guests.

You’ll need:

  1. Ground Coffee (any flavor you’d like)
  2. Eggnog (any variety – you can go traditional here, or flavored..but even an almond based eggnog works just fine!)
  3. Cinnamon & Nutmeg
  4. Whipped cream (again regular or almond based is perfect depending on your specific needs!).

Start by brewing your coffee. For this recipe brew one cup per each serving. For example, I’m brewing at the 10 cup mark , there are five of us and I want to have extra. This should give us about 2 cups each!

According to the color coded system, I’ll be adding 2 1/2 scoops of ground coffee to my filter. I will then add 10 cups of water to the reserve and hit brew now!

Once your coffee is brewed, fill each coffee mug or glass a 1/3 of the way full. You’ll want about two inches or so of room left in the cup!

Then, add the eggnog and a splash of vanilla extract. Next, top the drink with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Finally, sprinkle on the cinnamon/nutmeg and garnish with a cinnamon stick! Now you’re ready to sit back and enjoy, gather up the fam, and celebrate the Holidays!
